Realities: By Ali B

The Artwork and Textiles I’ve created are images inspired by fashion, pop culture and world issues, blended with words, statements and ideas to depict a whole new reality.  They create timeless statements that drive thought or emotion unique to the individuals that encounter them.

This collection was inspired by a series of work I created in 2000-2005 called Realities.    

It's a series of Mixed Media Art and Paintings developed by deconstructing images to their purest form, pixel and pattern.  By weaving words and imagery into collages designed traditionally by the naked eye and hand, then following it with digital restoration, I've created a pure, high quality, striking image. Finally using a transferring method, I've wallpapered the deconstructed images together to create the finished composition.

My artwork now serves as the textile base of my collection, Realities By: Ali B
